Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

Ardennes ‘44 - terrain works

Finally managed some cave time to do some work on this project .  Bren had done the base work on rubber neoprene roads adding coloured caulk which I have added muddy snow and pure snow static grass and snow to .  I have also done my first two lots of conifers , with more to do when I restock the snow scatter . I have a selection  of buildings to do coming up next - base coat work is done .

Plenty more space to fill

I need to make up some fences , walls , hedges and frozen stream as well. Always more to do.
