Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

Ardennes ‘44 - Rear echelon additions and a few other bits

This weeks additions are mostly American rear echelon pieces . These will make good scenario pieces with rear troops being caught and having to defend or escape .

Most are 3d prints from Battlefield 3D - which makes these kind of items really easy to get now .

Telegraph wagon and Armoured wrecker

GMC wrecker and covered M3 Halftrack

Dodge and Ambulance

Water trailer and various supply scatter pieces

Some new 76mm armed Sherman’s

A few new Panzergrenadiers

That’s been a period of decent focus which has now git this up and running . Still more troops to add of course , but I have enough for the first game - huzzah!

This of course means time for a new focus of course ..
