Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

Back of Beyond.- British Intervention forces armoured car and wrecked WW2 Tiger

 I was gifted a 1st Corp armoured car by Martin for Crimbo . I decided to get this one done quickly . I used the paint scheme I found on the 1st Corp website . It went together nicely , with good resin and metal castings . Pleased to say the eye issue is starting to abate . Nice to get back painting .




 

Next up is a 15mm Tiger . This is one of late friend Scotty’s stash . It was a bit battered so I have completed it as a knocked out version for winter use
