Things finally aligned this weekend to meet up with the guys from the local gaming group . We are putting on a demo game at Battleground at the end of November and John wanted a target to get his WSS paper soldiers collection completed and out on the table .
We set up the main 12x6 with some simple terrain so we could work through the rules on a page stuff that he’d created too .
The French and allies , against the Brits and Allies .
A good play test was had - a few simple tweaks to make and some more paper buildings to add to finish off .
Bren also had his St Nazaire set up out - as it’s getting nearer completion .again this was to do some play testing for a future multiplayer game for us .
I have completed some paint table lurkers to get the brushes moving again - and it’s now all clear ready for a load of 10mm Naps for Gerry and to crack on with my other winter projects .
The Hive Scum hired guns and a random 3d printed sci-fi dog for Necromunda
Don’t worry, the rules will get tweaked to be more, ahem, realistic!
ReplyDeleteLooking great Dave, I do like the paper figures, it's something different.
ReplyDeleteThe paper figures look great , although I’m not really tempted with many other projects at the moment 👍
ReplyDeleteI love the paper minis. I have the Wars of the Roses set that I've stated. They have such a wonderfully whimsical look about them. Looking forward to seeing your 10mm Napoleonics.
