Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

4 more S Boats taking me to 6

We played a first game last week, and enjoyed it.

I have a few other cargo ships from the lead pile left to do, and that should do this i think

  4. Really enjoying CS; but did you find the rigging got in the way of measuring from the gun emplacements? i'm seriously considering removing the aerials from my vospers.

    1. Thanks , no I tend to just measure for nearest point ,, doesn’t really matter as long as consistent for both sides
