Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

Pulp - Meet the Band

A continuation on the theme. Here we have the Jazz Quartet by Bob Murch.

and with Miss Lilly Von Verde the front woman

Just need to come up with a good name and build a stage set!

Another of the Femme Fatale range - Wanda Midnight

And the shot of all the employees of "Long Sarah's"

  1. Lovely work again Dave. Your jazz quartet looks much better than my 8-piece jazz band :)

    2. Go for the Eureka set after the Challenge then - 8 piece band including a Joanna and one of those folks who hangs around with musicians...oh, hang on a sec, Anne is one...errmm that is to say and 8-piece jazz band with a piano and a wonderful percussion artiste.

You can get in the UK from Fighting 15s
