Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

The New Man Cave part 4

Things are moving along with hobby end having had extra items added- more cupboards, bookshelves, a shelf above the paint desk , display cases added , and a complete sort through all the tools and equipment. I need to put some more pictures on the walls as I review what I have and add some more too.

Favourite film poster is up!

The first actual painting has now been done with undercoat applied to the 10mm ACW stuff that is in the pipeline.

The day job workspace at the end of the room is now sorted too

The gaming area in-between the two ends will be along in the summer after the other works going on that mean I am storing extra stuff until sorted.
