Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

7DTTR - French battlegroup top up

 As a little refresher between BoB stuff I have progressed some new bits for my French battlegroup for the 7 Days collection . 

First some up to date armour in the form of AMX56’s Leclerc . Done in standard 3 colour NATO scheme using the airbrush. Then an oil wash and highlights with some fishing wire aerials added .

A pair of Gazelle 20mm autocannon armed helicopters 





I have an additional platoon of infantry to complete plus their transport and this project will be completed .
