Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

Send for the U.S. Marshall

There is trouble brewing in town and the US Marshall is on his way. (Well strictly I think he is retired...)



 A rather fine figure by Crusader (thanks for the id Silver whiste) , also comes complete with "eyepatch" now I wonder who he could be...



It also comes with a dismounted version as well ,which is under way.

Enjoyed doing this one. One more batch of cowboys to paint up and ready for a game.

    Dave, I could be wrong but I think this is a crusader figure.

      Pat, you may well be right - the blister only had a code and not any manufacturer on - it was a an ebay special!

      Thanks Michael. Google is wonderful thing (and an A3 printer helps). I think it was"trees conifer north america images"

      Cheers Curt - it is really good casting. Yeah I can feel a Lancer of Berg special coming on , with pistol in one hand, lance in the other and reins in mouth as per this lad!
