Since the Partizan show I have re tidying up and re-organising the storage boxes to make better use of those I have - and they are all now stored away until the next big game on August at The Other Partizan event on the 20th of August. In the mean time I have an upcoming game of VBCW to look forward to with the guys from the Old Guard club near Northallerton. Its being run by Martin (
28mm Heroes blog) so look forward to seeing what he does with it.
The paint desk now has a few different things on it for a change as I am doing a few units for friends,
|
28mm Stradiots - Italian Renaissance cavalry for Curt |
|
10mm Napoleonic Mamalukes for Gerry |
|
my own 10mm ACW , and more bits of railway track for the Sudan and my cowboys. |
The man cave works have been progressing in between things. My display cases are all now up.
|
The preparation , airbrushing and soldering area. |
|
Additional shelving added above the main painting area |
|
The central area of the room is clear - awaiting my new bespoke games table. |
|
Central area from the other side ... 8x4 table to go in there.. |
hopefully the new games table will be built in the next week or so...
Looking fantastic Dave! You can hear the other AHPC guys trembling at what this might do to boost your productivity...
ReplyDeleteIt might add a figure or two to the output ... ;-)
DeleteLooking great
ReplyDeleteCheers... first game in the planning phase..
DeleteWhat a great man cave!
ReplyDeleteIt really is looking splendid Dave.
ReplyDeleteThank you .. it's getting there!
DeleteThat is a very nice set up Dave and quite a busy workbench.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul .. it's coming along ..plenty of lead being stocked up for later in the year too
DeleteExcellent set up and still so well organised.
ReplyDelete😀
Cheers.. it won't last!
DeleteCrikey. It looks a little too well organised if you ask me. Where's all the organised chaos that is a vital ingredient to painting little figures.
ReplyDeleteI love the hoover, though. Not many man caves will have their own hoover! Respect.
I have to say the Dyson was a very recent addition , it's proving very handy keeping the mess under control!
DeleteBloody hell Dave, do you have ADH, that is a very neat and tidy desk and room. I try to keep my room fairly orderly but it always ends up a chaotic mess.
ReplyDeleteOh chaos will be along right enough when I start the next big project!
DeleteIt's been 20 years in the planning .. so I better look after it!
DeleteSo envious....
ReplyDeleteSorry
DeleteI'm not jealous at all ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo no...
DeleteYour hobby space looks fantastic Dave! I particulalry like that trio of painting cabinets on the wall. I can see some treasures in there. (And I love the balloon waiting in the wings.)
ReplyDeleteThanks... I am considering some more cabinets in due course too.. nice to be able to view the fruits of ones labours!
