Picking up those brushes again.

Hi and welcome to the occasional mutterings of Dave Doc, a military modeller and some time gamer. Gaming and model making has given me a real education, History & Geography(obvious really), Artistry, Politics, Economics, Logistics, Project Management -you try building miniature armies without the last 3.

I will use the blog to record my creations & the odd occasion I actually do some gaming.

I have always been inspired by the aesthetic side of gaming. Playing on well constructed terrain using excellently painted units is always a joy.

'Nam 68 - Casualties , and vehicles

A few new items for the collection. First up a PT76 for the NVA - this is cracking model from Full Metal Miniatures .

Next again by FMM is a VC set carrying a wounded comrade or prisoner

The downed Helicopter crew set again by FMM , and the ubiquitous Air Cav Col Kilmore by WI

The last few games have turned out to have higher casualties for the US so I have picked up a bunch more casualties with Corpsman , wounded and dead from Gringos40 , and a few more from Full Metal Miniatures and The Assault Group - which gives a fair bit of variety .

Plus tunnel entrances again by FMM

That about puts me back on track for the last few weeks of painting .
